He promised her the moon and sky, A love that time would never deny. A trust once firm, now torn apart, The wound of betrayal, a bleeding heart. The vows they swore in Allah’s sight, To cherish each other, to walk in light. She gave him all, her heart, her soul, Believing he would make her whole. By Allah’s Name, they sealed their vow, Yet sins have stained what’s broken now. Did he forget the sacred trust? The bond of nikah, pure and just? She never knew, she never guessed, Her love was put to the hardest test. He played his game with careful art, While breaking slowly his queen’s heart.
