He promised her the moon and sky, A love that time would never deny. A trust once firm, now torn apart, The wound of betrayal, a bleeding heart. The vows they swore in Allah’s sight, To cherish each other, to walk in light. She gave him all, her heart, her soul, Believing he would make her whole.
